1. Who we are
RCPRO (“RCPRO”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered hiring marketplace operated by AB7 Udyat Tech Systems Pvt Ltd. RCPRO connects employers, candidates, recruitment partners and academic institutions through separate workspaces on the website at rcpro.io and the RCPRO application (together, the “Service”).
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits our website, joins early access or uses the Service. Where an employer, recruitment partner or institution uploads or manages your data, they are also responsible for how they use it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, company or institution, job title and the workspace you use (employer, candidate, partner or academia).
- Candidate profile data: resume, skills, work history, education, salary expectations, job preferences, intro and pre-interview videos, and verification details you choose to add.
- Hiring activity: job postings, applications, screening answers, quiz and form responses, interview recordings and evaluations, offers and onboarding records.
- Partner and campus data: business and verification details, commission terms and bids, student rosters (such as name, stream, CGPA, batch and backlogs) uploaded by institutions.
- Communications: messages you send through the Service, to the Ask RC PRO assistant, or to us by email, and early-access form submissions.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages and features used, actions taken and timestamps.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system and error logs, used for security and reliability.
Information from others
- Employers, recruitment partners and institutions may submit your profile or resume, for example when a partner submits you for a role or a campus nominates you for a drive.
- If you sign in with Google, we receive the information described in the next section.
3. Google sign-in and Google user data
You can choose to sign in to RCPRO with your Google account. When you do, and only with your permission, we receive the following from Google:
- Your name
- Your email address and whether it is verified
- Your profile picture
- A unique Google account identifier
These come from the standard openid, email and profile scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service.
How we use Google user data
We use this information only to:
- create your RCPRO account and sign you in securely;
- pre-fill your name, email and profile picture in your workspace; and
- contact you about your account and the Service.
What we do not do with Google user data
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use or transfer it for advertising, including personalised or retargeted ads.
- We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read it, except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with the law, or where it has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
We share Google user data only with service providers that host and operate the Service for us, under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. It is never shared with employers, partners or institutions beyond the profile details you choose to show in your workspace.
RCPRO’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access and deleting Google data
You can remove RCPRO’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. To delete the Google data we hold, along with your RCPRO account, email info@rcpro.io from the address linked to your account. We will complete the deletion within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.
4. How we use information
- To provide the Service: creating accounts, publishing jobs, matching candidates to roles, running hiring workflows and tracking applications, submissions and placements.
- To communicate with you, including workflow messages by email, WhatsApp or voice call that an employer or partner has set up for a role you applied to.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and debug problems.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. AI features and automated processing
RCPRO uses AI to score how well a profile matches a job, parse resumes, run Voice AI calls and AI video interviews, prepare candidates for interviews, write tailored application pitches (AI Auto Apply) and power natural-language search and the Ask RC PRO assistant.
- Match scores and workflow results help people prioritise. They do not make hiring decisions. Employers and partners decide when to run workflows and who to hire.
- AI Auto Apply only applies on your behalf in the mode you choose (Auto-pilot, Review first or Just show me), and you can switch it off at any time.
- Voice calls and video interviews may be recorded and evaluated. You will be told before a recorded round begins.
- We may use trusted AI service providers to process this data on our behalf. They may not use it to train their own models.
If you want a person to review an outcome that affects you, contact the employer or write to us.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes in this policy. Resumes a recruitment partner uploads are exclusive to that partner for 180 days. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, unless we must keep certain records to meet legal, tax or dispute-resolution obligations.
8. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls based on least privilege, separate workspaces for each type of user, and logging of access to personal data. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct or update inaccurate data;
- delete your data and account;
- withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain processing;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to; and
- raise a grievance with us, and complain to your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@rcpro.io. We will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
10. International transfers
RCPRO is operated from India, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
11. Children
RCPRO is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Institutions must not upload data about students under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will post the new version on this page with a new “last updated” date, and notify you by email or in the app if the changes are material.
